In 1927 famed American painter N. C. Wyeth completed a series of five murals for Hubbard Memorial Hall the National Geographic Societys first formal library. Called - The Romance of Discovery the murals were flanked by highly illustrated maps of the eastern and western hemispheres showing the paths taken by some of the worlds most significant explorers. The western hemisphere features Poseidon and a mermaid keeping watch over the oceans. Measures 20in x 18in. Tubed maps come in a clear plastic storage tube.
Yesterday I bought 3 pieces of National Geographic RE0620549T Map Of Discovery - Western Hemisphere - Tubed Map from UnbeatableSale.com at price 21.10. It is useful and top product in this category of classroom maps.
